LEED Building Waste Characterization
Client: LEED Building Waste Characterization
Date: December 2019 Envirolutions Consulting has experience conducting LEED waste audits on LEED-certified commercial buildings, offering complete tracking and record keeping to quantify the percentage of the waste diversion and recycling participation rate. What is LEED? LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most widely used third-party verification for green buildings at all stages of development. LEED certification points can be earned across several areas to demonstrate that a building or community was designed and built using strategies intended to improve performance in metrics such as energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts. Based on the number of points achieved, a project then receives one of four LEED ratings: Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. |
